"OUR PAST ACTIONS AND THOUGHTS HAVE DETERMINED WHERE WE ARE TODAY. OUR ACTIONS AND THOUGHTS TODAY WILL DETERMINE WHERE WE ARE TOMORROW."
The Retired NFL Players Congress, Inc.™ was incorporated to provide direct, legal representation in navigating business interests for the retired NFL player family.
Our Mission as a corporation is to represent all retired players and widows legally, collectively, fairly, and independently as we work toward establishing relationships that will improve finances, recognition of value, benefits and overall quality of life.
The Players Congress positions:
-
The Players Congress does not condone, intend or benefit from any form of public criticism of other retired players, player groups or organizations.
-
All retired players, vested and unvested, have the right to fair pension benefits.
-
There is much that we can and will do for ourselves beyond endless litigation and begging.
-
NFL Retired Players deserve pensions that are comparable to and in line with pensions enjoyed by MLB and the NBA.
The Players Congress has defined and committed to the following:
-
A business partnership with the National Football League, its Teams and other Corporate Partners in order to discontinue being placed in a perpetual state of begging for what we have earned.
-
Vehicles that fairly market and promote retired players.
-
Vesting for all who played the game.
Toward these points, goals, initiatives, and programs we welcome all 19,000 + retirees and widows to the NFL Retired Player Congress! We invite questions, feedback, suggestions, encouragement, and support via the contribution of voluntary membership dues. You may register here.
In Service,
